2020 Update no.8 – Online Presentations

Covid-19 – Level 4 Alert

I hope you are all keeping well and getting on to things that you wouldn’t normally be able too.  I am busy sorting my catalogue which is a boring
job but will make life easier when it is all done!  I have enjoyed taking my camera out with me when I shop or exercise to capture our new normal
and sewing lots of masks!

It has been so great seeing all the images you are making on our facebook page – keep that up – very inspiring.  The PSNZ facebook page alphabet challenge has resulted
in some great work as well – worth a look if you are haven’t been on their page before:  you may have to be a member,

We will not be meeting tomorrow night due to the lockdown, but NZIPP have arranged some presentations via Zoom that I thought I would advise you about if you are interested

Tony Bridge Presentation – Mon 20th April at 2.00pm

I make work from myself, and to myself – with Tony Bridge

Join digital artist and photo educator Tony Bridge for an online presentation (followed by a Q&A on April 20.

Tony is well known in the New Zealand photography world, not only for his beautiful landscapes but for workshops that help
people tap into their own photographic voice.  For Tony, it was when he “stepped out of the rat race” and stopped watching
and comparing himself to the photographers around him that he found his work almost started making itself.
When you begin to make work that is unique to you, Tony says, it becomes a loop, and you learn more about who you are.
not only that, but you capture others’ attention and mark yourself out from the crowd.

Tony is a Fujifilm X Photographer, and is currently supported by various photographic software companies, including OnOne, Topazm Athentech and Picturecode
