2021 Update no. 1 – Show and Tell

Wine and Cheese Show and Tell – 26 January

When: Tuesday 26 January

Location: Hutt Valley Tramping Club, 15 Birch Street, Waterloo
Topic: Wine, beer, soft drinks and Cheese to welcome in the 2021 year
Bring:  Up to 10 images to show us what you have been up to.

Our annual get back together evening of socialising, catch up and show and tell.   We will supply the food and drink, and look forward to seeing some of your images
taken over the summer break.  These don’t need to be fancy and might be a record of your time or from a dedicated shoot, whatever you feel like sharing.

Mon February 1: Bird Photography Simplified

We all know that bird photography is difficult.  In this presentation Glenn will share his approach to simplifying the process of bird photography while still striving for high quality wildlife images. From equipment selection to field techniques to post processing Glenn will share his approach to bird photography.  Examples of his work: BIRDS OF THE NEW WORLD

Photo Edit Night – Tuesday 9 February

Topic: Photo Edit Night

This is an audience participation evening, so please click here to download the full res jpg photos that are straight out of camera.
We are sending them to you now in the hopes you will have plenty of time to have a go.
Process which ever photo/s you like however creatively you wish and post them up in the relevant facebook group album here
We will then select some to discuss on the night

Upcoming Fieldtrip – Saturday 20 February – White Rock Wairarapa

Mark this in your calendar.  The plan at this stage is to meet at Everest café in Featherson at 10am before moving onto Martinborough town to wander around and then move onto White Rock beach – there is a good gravel road leading to it.  When we are done we will travel back to enjoy a meal in Martinborough for those would like to before travelling home.
